The 2013 summer season starts May 25th on Randall's Island with the Adidas Grand Prix.
There is no better way to be inspired than with a chance to see the world's best track and field athletes lace up their spikes and hit the track at Icahn Stadium. Check out an All-Star cast of 2012 Olympic medalists including David Rudisha, Jenn Suhr and Tyson Gay as they run, jump, throw and vault at one of the top professional meets in the world. Plus, cheer on the country's top high school milers as they chase the ever elusive 4 minute barrier.
Ticket information can be found at http://www.diamondleague-newyork.com/ or you can visit Adidas Grand Prix on Facebook.
At the 2012 USATF Convention and during the Officials Hall of Fame Dinner, Gary Westerfield was presented with the prestigious Lori Maynard Award, which is awarded annually to the most Outstanding Race Walk Official. Gary is a very active member of our association, including founding member, past President, Race Walk Chair and current Treasurer. Gary is a real credit to our association and we congratulate him on receiving this great honor.
There have been some internal changes to the USATF Mandated
Background Screening requirements for those who have any contact
with athletes. This site explains and provides a portal
for the Screening.
